No state has more of those top 50 cities than California.
Based on the study, the Golden State has 19 of them, or 38% of the list.
Arizona is a distant second with six, followed by Florida with five and Colorado with four.
Nevada and Washington state each landed three cities on the list.

The difference in the percentage of households earning over $100,000 was calculated over three- and one-year periods.
The cities were sorted to show the largest increase in cities where households earn over $100,000.
