You may be thinking about things like gas mileage, body, year and condition.
You may also be considering whether to purchase a new vehicle or a used one.
And above all else, youre probably thinking about its price tag.
If youre in the market for a European vehicle its important to factor inhow much its going to cost.
Many European brands like like Mercedes and Audi are already expensive and are likely to go up in price.
GOBankingRates reached out to a couple of automotive experts to find outwhich ones are indeed becoming more expensive.
These specific editions were only produced and sold for about a year before the Defender was discontinued.
So, not only are these cars no longer being made, but they are incredibly rare.
Those factors can boost value by a lot.
The Land Rover Defender has a suggested retail price of roughly $70,000.
Depending on the specs and condition, prices only go up from there.
Porsche 911
A luxury brand, Porsche was never exactly known for its low price tags.
First on my list would be the Porsche 911, particularly theolder air-cooled modelsfrom the 1980s and 1990s.
These cars have a timeless design and a driving experience that enthusiasts cherish.
Not only that but Giranda said he believes that demand will continue to rise for these vehicles.
As it does, older models that are no longer in production could become scarcer and more valuable.
The starting price for a Porsche 911 is around $114,000.
Different models can go for even higher than that.
BMW E30 M3
Another car to keep an eye on is theBMW E30 M3, said Giranda.
The E30 generation was produced from 1986 to 1991.
Back then, it went for around $30,000 new.
Thats nearly $70,000 in todays dollars.
And ascar enthusiasts and collectorscontinue to seek out these vehicles, costs could increase even more.
The E30 M3 was originally designed for racing, which gives it a unique appeal.
As fewer of these cars remain in good condition, I think their value will continue to appreciate.
Audi Quattro
Produced from 1980 to 1991, the Audi Quattro isnt exactly your average everyday vehicle.
Its a classic that, according toClassic.com, costs on average $199,648.
And thats just for the base model.
The Quattro revolutionized rally racing and brought all-wheel-drive technology to the forefront.
Its definitely likely to remain a highly sought-after vehicle amongst classic car collectors.
These vehicles were produced in the mid-1950s and were marketed as one of the brands earlier sports cars.
For car enthusiasts, this comes as no real surprise considering how rare and expensive they already are.
Classic.comfound that the average Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing goes for about $1.6 million.
